Privacy Policy

The License to Sell apps (“the app”) are published by License to Sell. We built them to respect your privacy: the app does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not use advertising or cross-app tracking. The only data involved is what's needed to deliver and restore your purchases, described below.

Information we do not collect

We do not require your name, email, or contact information to study, and the app has no advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. If a future version offers an optional account for cross-device sync, it will be opt-in and this policy will be updated to describe it.

Study progress is stored on your device

Your flashcard and quiz progress (which cards you've answered and your review schedule) is saved locally on your device. Deleting the app removes this data.

Purchases

Optional unlocks (such as the national deck and state modules) are one-time purchases processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by those stores; we never see or store your payment details.

To validate your purchases and let you restore them after reinstalling or on another device, we use RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a record of your purchases and an app-generated device identifier. This is used only to manage your unlocks; it is not linked to your name or email and is not used for advertising or to track you across other apps.

Promo and affiliate codes

If you redeem a promo or affiliate code, the code is sent to our server (Supabase) only to verify it is valid and prevent reuse. Redeeming a code does not require any personal information about you.

Children's privacy

License to Sell is intended for adults pursuing professional licenses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how data is handled (for example, optional cloud sync), we will update this policy and its effective date.
